5.0 out of 5 stars A complete set of the most annoying screwdrivers on the planet., February 7, 2009

Every time I encounter a torx screw, I am both irritated and annoyed. The only thing more annoying that some jerk of an engineer chosing a torx screw when a philips would have worked just as well (which is always) is discovering that it's a torx in the one size you don't have. The GorillaGrip solves that problem in a compact way that doesn't waste space in your toolbox the way torx wastes time in your life. A brilliant and affordable solution to an incredibly stupid problem.

This product is awesome. I use this product for opening XBox 360 cases, and circuitry. You can not purchase anything smaller than T10 in your normal retail stores, so this tool gives you the extra small sizes you need for the smaller applications inside a gaming system. I've repaired, modified, and upgraded many XBox 360's with this tool, and I've never had any problems, or complaints for this product.

Awsome product, I recommend it to anyone workin in, or on gaming systems and some personal computer systems.

The folding Torx multi tool by Bondhus is an extremely handy tool, allowing to carry with you 8 Torx keys, from size 6 to size 25, in a package the size of a pocket knife. It is very well built, the handle appearing to be made of some kind of Nylon, and the keys of black-coated steel (they do not appear to be anodized).
The only problem I have with this tool is not because of some particular flaw it might have but rather because of its very design. For jobs requiring a lot of precision (and when you go below T8 you are usually dealing with very small screws attached to delicate equipment) the weight of the handle makes this tool a bit clumsy to use, especially when in a screwdriver position (when the keys are at an 180 degree angle to the handle). Also, the relatively wide handle gives you a lot of torque, often too much compared to the size of the screw, and over-tightening or even breakage are a risk.

This is a very practical tool for sporadic use but cannot always... Read more
